On April 20, 2018, the first group of Chinese steel structure gold engineering experts evaluation meeting was held in Beijing. More than 30 senior steel structure experts from across the country formed an expert evaluation group to conduct the final evaluation.The review shall be carried out in strict accordance with the measures for the approval and administration of gold award for steel structure in China (revised in 2017) (hereinafter referred to as the measures).

2017 is the new "management method" in the first year, in order to guarantee the engineering quality and safety level of steel structure, enhance the consciousness of the main body responsibility, China's steel structure gold award evaluation committee according to the opinions of the experts and enterprise management method and the suggestion to the 2013 edition and audit requirements changes, the new regulations, pay more attention to enterprise system implementation and execution, in strict accordance with the quality and safety standards organization, implementation and monitoring of engineering construction.

At the meeting, the gold award evaluation secretariat reported the information review and on-site verification of the applied projects: in 2017, on-site verification was carried out on 154 projects nationwide, divided into four groups, and more than 730 experts were organized.The construction area of the verified project is 18 million square meters, accounting for 1.8% of the national housing completion area (101,486 square meters) in 2017.According to the comprehensive evaluation and vote of experts, about 12.3% of the engineering projects did not pass the evaluation of this meeting.Tianjin chow tai fook financial center project has passed the appraisal of "China steel structure gold award annual outstanding engineering award".

According to the "administrative measures", the gold medal project of China's steel structure will be publicized online for 7 days.After the public announcement, the project without objection from all sectors of society will be officially awarded the honorary title of "China steel structure gold award project", and will be publicized and commended at the national industry conference in 2019.

Due to its good reputation, China steel structure gold award has also been recognized by the Beijing municipal commission of construction, the bidding office of hunan province and the engineering association of the people's liberation army, and it has been listed as a bonus item in the relevant local credit evaluation standards and personal credit evaluation and bidding projects.

The selection of China steel structure gold award has played an important role in guiding enterprises to consciously implement the laws, regulations and standards of engineering construction, encouraging enterprises to strengthen the sense of main responsibility and promoting the level of engineering quality management in China.
